What is the difference between BUILD and just going to a regular gym?
In a standard gym, you train alone with no structured plan, no progression tracking, and no one to ensure your technique is correct. BUILD is a coached, personalised strength training programme. Your coach designs your plan, adjusts it as you progress, monitors your form in every session, and provides nutrition guidance alongside the training. The result is faster, safer progress than most people achieve on their own.
Do I need to already be lifting weights to join BUILD?
No. BUILD is designed for people at all levels, from complete beginners who have never touched a barbell to experienced gym-goers who have stopped seeing results. Your programme starts from where you are now.
How long before I start seeing results from strength training?
Most clients notice improvements in their strength within the first two to four weeks as their technique improves and their nervous system adapts. Visible muscle development typically follows over the coming weeks, depending on starting point, nutrition, and consistency. A 12-week programme gives enough time to build genuine, measurable progress.
Will I get too bulky from a muscle-building programme?
Building significant muscle mass takes a long time and requires very specific conditions, including a sustained calorie surplus, heavy progressive loading, and months of consistent training. Most clients following BUILD notice a stronger, more defined physique rather than bulk, particularly when nutrition is calibrated properly.
Is BUILD suitable if I have an injury or physical limitation?
In most cases, yes. The initial consultation includes a postural and movement screening so we know what to work around before we build your programme. If you have a specific concern, mention it when you book and we will advise before you start.
